iPhone Skype – Call Your TV in HD.

Popular video conferencing platform Skype have just released their latest version of their iPhone App, Version 3.0.1, which enables users to connect and video call with Skype enabled TV's.

Now, there's no need to be confined to the limits of your laptop or desktop computer. You can enjoy the benefits of video conferencing within the comforts of your loungeroom.

Of course, you'll need a skype enabled TV, like Samsung's 7000 LED TV Series, with the optional camera attached. Whilst this is a new technology, we have no doubt that it won't be long before TV manufacturers are producing TV's with HD Camera's built in.

Soon, you'll be able to simply select which friend or family member you'll like to chat with, and chat with them face to face from your Sofa. The new technology is based on the H.264 video codec, which offers high quality HD motion video with minimal bandwidth requirements.
