iPhone Tips – Do You Know About These 3 Tips?

iPhone TipsWhat does it take to become an iPhone master, a seventh-degree black belt in the art of smart phones?

Admittedly, these ranks don’t even exist in the world of the iPhone, but that’s not what you’re here to learn about: you want to use some tips and tricks for the iPhone that will have you looking and behaving like someone who’s handled a smart phone before.

These little tips and tricks aren’t about using the iPhone to do fantastical things like help you pull off a bank robbery.

Instead, they’re simply little things that you probably didn’t know but can save you a lot of time and hassle simply by learning them once.

Does that sound like an appealing proposition to you?  If it does, keep reading. Let’s take a look at some small tips that can work for you.

Tip: Double-tap the space bar to write a period.

Finding a way to quickly add a period isn’t always easy, and, heck, even typing a period isn’t that convenient when you compared it to doing it this way. Double-tapping the space bar allows you to easily end a sentence doing what you’d normally do anyway - tap a space.

This means you won’t have to interrupt the normal flow of your iPhone typing and that the sentences will be easier to type overall. Once you make this a habit, you’ll wonder how you ever typed a period any other way.

Tip: Keep your home screen clean.

I know you can create lots of home screens simply by adding more and more apps, but let’s face it: you don’t use all of this little icons you have on your iPhone, do you? If you haven’t used an app nearly as much as you thought you would, you can delete it - and you should. What’s the best way to do this? It’s actually quite simple: click and hold the application’s icon on your home screen until it wiggles.

At this point, you should be given the option to “X” your app out of iPhone existence. If you aren’t sure you want to delete an application, just remind yourself that if you really miss it, you can always download it again. After all, you can’t delete the regular Apps the iPhone has pre-installed.

You can also keep things organized by dragging your icons around and placing the ones you use most in the easiest-to-access places. If you’re not already doing this, then you’re missing out on a much more user-friendly iPhone experience.

Tip: Don’t be afraid to use your iPhone even when you’re on the phone.

Your iPhone doubles as a phone, yes, but that doesn’t mean its other functions disappear entirely because your friend called you. All you have to do is press the home button while you’re on a phone call and - voila! - you’re back to the normal functions of the iPhone without having ended your call.

If your friend has a question about directions, bring out the GPS and take a look at the maps on the same device you use to speak on the phone. This is part of what makes the iPhone such a spectacular innovation - don’t be afraid to use it

Is there still plenty to learn about the iPhone? Of course. The iPhone’s features aren’t limited to just a few tips that make your life a little easier. There are really some great ways to take advantage of that gadget in your pocket.
